Woot!
I kept reading and so sad to see your pup has been diagnosed with liver cancer. I hope he's coping the best he can.
I love dogs so much, they are the world to me. I just wrote on my own blog about how my Lucy, a Rat Terrier I lost in 2006, keeps sending me signs to let me know she'll be waiting for me in heaven. I really am praying for Rudy...
best,
minnieknitsRobinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00485991889658888917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11243764.post-49245375583204286742008-09-20T17:20:00.000-07:002008-09-20T17:20:00.000-07:00I'm so sorry about Rudy. I hope he does that dog thing where they make you think, "hey, there's nothing wrong with you!" being their old silly selves and then just gently pass away in their sleep. Not much of a wish I suppose, but I wish this for you and him. There are vets who do home euthanasia; it makes a hard thing a little easier.

Sorry about your ankle and sitting out the season, but w00t to your mad knitting skills!

Take care,
Wendy
(And we finally got to see Harold & Kumar II. It was fabulously wonderfully stupid and we loved it. ;))Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11243764.post-52036366880586852082008-09-20T16:54:00.000-07:002008-09-20T16:54:00.000-07:00I am so sorry to hear about Rudy. If it makes you feel any better, I've spent the last 2 weeks crying on and off about my Grady, chocolate lab, that is going to be 14 in November. We have to have him put to sleep because his back legs don't work anymore. His heart is 1, his legs are 100. I was supposed to spend my last day with him today...but just couldn't bring myself to do it. So, I let my ex husband do it.

I am so very sorry. Reading your blog today made me understand what we're both going through is so tough.

JJill Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17776498439105373842noreply@blogger.com
